At ease the whole way
Four simple tools that stay in your hands the whole trip, explained here in full.
Four ways we keep you safe
Verified riders
Verification is entirely optional. If you choose it, you upload a photo of your ID and its number, then the app gives you a four-digit code that you write on paper and hold up for a selfie taken with the camera directly. A person on our team reviews both photos by hand and checks your ID number themselves, before approving or refusing your verification with a reason. Drivers can choose to take verified riders only, and some trips between cities are reserved for them as well.
We check in during the trip
While your trip is under way, the system watches how it is going: if the car stops for an unusually long time, if its location goes quiet altogether, or, on a trip between cities, if it drifts far from the planned route, the app asks you directly: is everything all right? Answer that it is, and the question ends right there. If you need help, the app opens sharing your trip, calling the police on 104, or calling an ambulance on 122. This watching is for your peace of mind, and it is never used to penalise your driver.
Safe Stop
On city rides only, while the ride is under way, if you want to get out before your destination, ask to stop from the app. Your request reaches your driver at once, so they can pull over somewhere safe and end the ride. Your fare is then worked out from the distance the car's recorded route shows you travelled: never above the price you agreed to, and never below the city minimum. If the route was not recorded without gaps, the agreed price stands.
Share your trip
Send a link to someone you trust so they can follow your trip without installing the app. They see the trip's status, where it runs from and to, the car's model, colour and plate, your driver's first name, and roughly where the car is while you ride. They never see your phone number or your driver's. The car's position disappears when the trip ends, and the link stops working 15 minutes later, or as soon as you stop sharing it yourself.
Your trip record
We keep a record of every trip — its statuses, its route, and any safety event on it — to go back to if you ever need our help. Chat messages with your driver are deleted 90 days after the trip ends, unless the trip had a Safe Stop or a help request on it, in which case we keep that chat with no end date.
